Yo guys, name's ANZEI KAZUMI!

Yer green hair loving, kendo guy.

Anyway, let me tell ya a little about this thread. It's a place ya can show off to mongrels yer fellow people here yer visual novel collection! It's also a place where ya can talk about various visual novels!

Now for the people who has no idea what a visual novel is~!

A visual novels are also known as:

Galge: Girls, girls everywhere! Usually there's the main character(You) who's a guy. And a ton load of girls too choose from.

Otome: Sausages, sausages everywhere! Opposite of above, otomes are centered on one girl and a ton of guys to choose from. Usually intended for girls to play...and girly boys...

Eroge: Ero, Ero everywhere~! 18+ games, with ero stuff inside it. Sometimes ero comes at the end when ya finish a route or sometimes the games is just filled with ero.

Etoo....that's what I remember...

I've only played Animamundi actually haha but I know a lot of VNs since most get turned into anime (most popular ones at least)

I would like to point out that Clannad is not R18. It is actually the only VN of Key that is not eroge...
It's sad that I have the game but can't play it because I'm using Mac... -_-

I see Katawa Shoujo in the list. This list has made me happy. T_T My favorite girl: Hanako; my favorite route: Lilly

Although not exactly a visual novel (more of an adventure game), I highly recommend Time Hollow. It's a DS game, though, so you'll have to use an emulator or an actual DS.

I also recommend Christine Love's works, such as Digital: A Love Story and Don't take it personally, babe, it just ain't your story. The former is a really unique type of visual novel, where the progression isn't linear. Instead, the story moves on for each correct action done. The latter is a more traditional VN, with a really cool premise to it. Her third creation, Analogue: A Hate Story, costs $10 on Steam.

I'm also currently playing Yume Miru Kusuri, and it's been great so far.

Although Hanako is not my favorite, she was the first girl I ever "conquered" right Smile) (I went through the and ending after and I'm so glad I didn't go down that route). Both Emi's, Rin's and Shizune's route I failed them all the first time T^T. Guess it was sorta expected for my very first VN. I'm actually in the middle of Lily's route right now, just looking for the right time and mood to finish it.

The only VNs that are to die for for me are Clannad ( the most tragic VN and anime), Shuffle!, Da Capo, and Ef-a Fairy Tale of two. The other VNs are not that to die for for me. =))

Wow, we're the same, I 'conquered' Hanako first. Then Rin and Emi. *Coughpattenkocough* Then Lily and lastly Shizune. Katawa Shoujo really changed my view on things. Also...CLANNAD. T_T

I never looked back after finishing her route. Even her route was beautifully-written and just an absolute delight to go through.

Agreed. It was really interesting. How she suddenly bursts into a wall of text was really cute at the end. XD

Unfortunately, we already have all the writers we need as far as the general plot is concerned. I'll see if we need a dialogue writer or some other "subwriter" of that sort.
